OPPORTUNITY
Nikki gets her life back by starting her business Tupperware is bringing me joy. I’d been through two years of infertility and repeated pregnancy loss, and it was very rough on my family. IVF brought us our miracle baby boy, but when he was 4 months old I got postpartum depression. It wasn’t like anything I had ever read about—I just wanted to be with my kids, nobody else, and I’m a very social person. I couldn’t even have conversations with people. So I went to the doctor and got medicine. It helped but there was no ‘Nikki.’ I had lost everything about who I was, and I didn’t know how to get it back. Then came Tupperware in January. By April, I was completely off of all medications because this joy was coming from inside of me. I had this purpose that was outside of being a mom and a wife that I hadn’t known since high school. I was meeting people and helping them with their lives, whether that was getting dinner on the table faster, or saving money because your fruits and vegetables last longer.
