Contest Rules - "Back to School with Goldtex Contest"
The draw is hosted by allsales.ca/Victoria 4B inc. (The "Sponsor") and takes place in Canada. The Draw starts August 13th and ends August 23rd, 2019 at 9:00 am (Eastern Daylight Time - EDT). The draw will be held on August 23rd, 2019, and the Winner will be notified by phone, email or through social media. The winner’s name will be published on allsales.ca and lesventes.ca Facebook pages.
1 - ORGANIZERS OF THE DRAW
For the purposes of the draw, the "group" is composed of the Sponsor, vendors of equipment and services related to this draw, allsales.ca/Victoria 4B inc. or any other company, partnership, sole proprietorship or other legal entity directly related to the Draw and their employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the "Group").
2 – ELIGIBILITY
This draw is open to anyone aged eighteen (18) years or older at the time of the draw. Excluded are members of the group and employees of any company, organization or company that works for this Draw, representatives or agents, advertising agents and promotion as well as members of their immediate family (father, mother, brothers, sisters and children), their legal spouse or de facto, and their households.
3 - HOW TO ENTER
3.1 To participate, you have to fill up the registration form. You then will get an entry. You can get more chances to win by participating on Facebook and Instagram.
3.2 By participating in this promotion, Draw, each participant and (or) purported entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless forever, Partners and their respective directors, officers, employees, shareholders, agents or other representatives (collectively, the "Indemnitees") from any claims, actions, damages, demands, manner of actions, causes of action, suits, debts, duties, accounts, bonds, covenants, warranties, indemnity, contract or liability of any nature whatsoever arising from or related to participation or attempted participation in the participant's compliance or otherwise of this Draw rules and acceptance and use of prize.
3.3 NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
Even if you need to have an online access and an email account to enter the Draw, no purchase is necessary to enter. Many public libraries, retail businesses and others offer free access to computers available to the public and some Internet service providers and other companies offer free email accounts.
3.4 LIMITED ENTRY
A limit of one (1) entry per participant per valid email address for each draw of the Draw will be accepted and that, regardless of method of entry.
3.5 If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address used at the time of entry will be determined as the participant. The person to whom an email address has been assigned by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domains associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. Through this Draw, when used in this regulation, the term "registration" is collectively referred to the original entry and entries by reference.
3.6 Only entries received no later than 9:00 am (EDT) on August 23rd, 2019 will be eligible.
3.7 ODDS
The odds that a participant's entry is selected depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Draw period.
4 PRIZE
We ONE (1) prize for the draw. The prize will be drawn among all eligible entries.
- One (1) $100 gift-certificate at Goldtex.
4.1 The prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitution of prize is permitted except by sponsor in its sole discretion. The prize is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash or credit, in whole or in part.
4.2 Any other expenses incurred by the winner, including, without limitation, costs of transportation and parking costs, gratuities and other incidental charges are excluded and remain the sole responsibility of the winner. Any unused portion of the prize becomes the property of the Sponsors.
5 The winner will receive: THE PRIZE described above.
5.1 The PRIZE will be shipped by mail to the winner.
5.2 There will be ONE (1) random draw among all eligible entries received during the Draw period. The selected entrant will be declared winner of the prize, subject to fulfilling all the requirements of this regulation.
5.3 A representative of the Draw organizer will contact the winner by phone, email or through Facebook or Instagram on the day of the draw, to explain how to claim the prize. In case the representative of the Draw organizer is unable to contact the winner within 24 hours following its first attempt, the organizer of the Draw will be released from any obligation to the person not joined, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to select by random another eligible entrant as a potential prize winner. Proof of legal age will be required before delivery of the prize.

6 CLAIMING OF PRIZE
6.1 Prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitution of prize is permitted except by sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with any other prize of equal or greater value, if a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. The prize is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash or credit, in whole or in part.
6.2 The refusal of a person selected as the winner to accept the Prize or any part thereof, as provided for in this Regulation releases the Draw organizers from any obligation related to prize or that portion of prize to that person.
6.3 To get the prize, selected entrant must first, in addition to meeting the Draw eligibility criteria and comply with the Official Rules (the "Winner"):
a) respond to the phone call, email, Facebook or Instagram message sent by the Sponsor or its representatives within 24 hours following the selection of the entry;
b) sign a standard declaration and release of liability prior to receiving the Prize, freeing the Draw organizers and sponsors from any liability for any damage that may result from use of the prize. The winner must sign this document before taking possession of the prize.
6.4 Taking possession of the prize. The selected entrant must comply with these instructions and procedures supplied by the Sponsor or its representatives to collect his prize. Among other things and without limitation, Sponsor may at its sole discretion apply to any selected entrant to make an appointment and / or establish a time limitation after which the selected entrant cannot claim and / or use and / or take possession of the prize.
6.5 Disqualification
Failure to comply with each of the conditions set out above, the selected entrant will be disqualified and will not receive any prize. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to select at random another eligible entrant as a potential prize winner.
7 GENERAL TERMS
7.1 The winner must release and hold harmless the organizer of the Draw and Draw partners, and any person designated by them, for any damage he may suffer as a result of accepting the prize, or organization or the holding of the activity described in the Sweepstake. The winner's failure or refusal to give effect to this paragraph will release the organizer of the Draw of any obligations against the default winner.
7.2 Any person involved agrees, by entering the Draw, that his name and photo can be used for advertising purposes, by the Draw organizers or sponsors of the Draw without compensation.
7.3 ODDS OF WINNING
The actual odds of winning will depend upon the actual number of entries received for this Draw.
7.4 The Draw Organizer reserves the right to remove all the entries sent in multiple applications (spam) and those whose provenance is questionable.
7.5 The Draw Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any person or cancel participation of any person entering this contest or trying to participate by means contrary to these regulations. Depending on the nature of gesture, that person could be referred to appropriate judicial authorities.
7.6 All entries become the property of the organizer of the Draw and no correspondence will be exchanged with entrants in this Draw other than in accordance with this Regulation or on the initiative of the Draw organizer.
7.7 For the purposes of this Draw, the entrant is the person whose details appear on the electronic form sent to the organizer.
7.8 If, for any reason, the Draw is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, and as permitted by law to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Draw and select winners from among all eligible entries prior to the cancellation. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Draw, or whom Sponsor believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to correct any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator errors.
7.9 The Draw organizers, sponsors of the Draw, their affiliates, employees, agents and representatives also disclaim any responsibility for any damage or loss that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by download from any web page, software or any form and by the transmission of any information concerning participation in this Draw.
7.10 The Draw Organizer reserves the right at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Draw in whole or in part in the event that an event is any evidence, or a human intervention error that could corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or proper conduct of the Draw as provided for in this Regulation and that, subject to the approval of la Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required.
7.11 In participating in this Draw or trying to participate, each participant and (or) purported entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless forever, Partners and their respective directors, officers, employees, shareholders, agents or other representatives (collectively, the "Indemnitees") from any (e) claims, actions, damages, demands, manner of actions, causes of action, suits, debts, duties, accounts, bonds, covenants, warranties, indemnity, contract or liability of any nature whatsoever arising from or related to participation or attempted participation in the participant's compliance or otherwise of that Draw rules and acceptance and use of prize. The "group" will not be held responsible for lost, incomplete, late or misdirected entries or for any failure of the Draw website during the Draw period or for any technical malfunction or other problems with any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, equipment or software or for any technical problems or traffic congestion Internet or at any website, or any combination of the foregoing, and will not be liable for any injury or damage to any person or property resulting from or bound participation or attempted participation of such person or any other person in this Draw. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Draw is a violation of criminal and civil laws and such an attempt, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including through criminal prosecution.
7.12 Any decision of the Draw organizers regarding this Draw are final and without appeal.
7.13 If any section of this regulation is declared illegal, unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that section will be considered invalid, but all other paragraphs which are not affected will be enforced to the extent permitted by law.
7.14 Quebec Residents: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity Draw may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
